Volunteer to be a Senior Portfolio presentation evaluator
Once again, La Porte High School students enrolled in Senior Technical Communications are completing a semester long project. The project provides students with the opportunity to investigate a career interest, work with a mentor for 8 hours in their desired career field, conduct primary research, develop a product with an authentic purpose, and produce and organize workplace documents. As part of their final exam, students will also share their work and overall experience to a panel of community members.
Students are currently in the process of evaluating career options and looking for mentors. If you are interested in being a mentor and/or if you are willing to help a student network in the community to find a mentor, please contact Cari LaRose – email@example.com for additional information.
Final student presentations are tentatively scheduled for Thursday, May 21 and Friday, May 22. If you are interested in participating as a panel participant, please contact Cari LaRose – firstname.lastname@example.org
